How to get wings

Every adventurer earns a first pair of wings early. Here is how to get them and how flight works.

The First Wings quest

1. Reach level 5.
2. Talk to Elder Maren in the village plaza and accept Wings of First Light.
3. Walk up to the Astral Lightwell in the plaza and stand close enough to feel it hum.
4. Return to Elder Maren. She gives you Fledgling Wings, plus some XP and gold.

Equip and fly

• Open your bag (I) and equip the wings from the Appearance tab.
• Press V to fly (D-pad left on a controller, the Fly button on a phone).
• While flying, Space climbs and Left Ctrl descends (A and B on a controller).
• Wings tire: a flight stamina bar drains while you fly and refills on the ground. Land before it runs out.
• Wings won't carry you above the clouds.

More wings

Fledgling Wings are only the start. More wings are sold in the Store (B) and can be won from raids.
